'Working Around Disability' brings together the personal reflections, thoughts and experiences of two people.
Grant Cleland is a social worker and consultant in the area of disabiliy. He is married, and the father of twin sons. Grant was born with Spina Bifida and has been in a wheelchair for most of his life.
Hanne Johnsen, the photographer of the exhibition "My name is…" spent long periods of time sharing people’s daily lives in the course of this work. The two stories are dynamically woven together through this 14 min long film, giving the viewer a rare insight into people’s lives.
'Working Around Disability' is a useful tool for creating a better understanding of the issues around disability awareness.
