Pukekohe - Community Development

Community Development Evenings
This is an opportunity for local community groups to hear what is working well in their area. Two disabled people will explain what it means to them to be involved in a local group. It may be a sporting group, service group, church group or club. A representative from within the club or group that they belong to will also speak about what the person brings to their organisation and what supports were required to make it happen.
The community development evenings are a great opportunity to network over drinks and nibbles and hear some inspiring stories that will encourage community groups to look at how they can get involved and provide opportunities for disabled people in their area.
