'Our stories' exhibition is travelling around New Zealand and will be coming to a town near you. 'Our stories' is sponsored by IHC with support from CCS.
This project challenges kiwis to get to know people with disabilities ? to see the person first rather than the disability. More than just an exhibition it includes workshops for schools and information evenings for employer groups, service organizations and sport and recreation groups.
It sends the message that people with disabilities have a right to participate in the community, to share in family life, have a job and ambitions.
The exhibition is open to the public and entry is free.
